Pronto!
Yesterday was just a day where we took things slowly and enjoyed the sunny weather here in Bologna. / Eile oli lihtsalt päev, kus me võtsime asju rahulikult ja nautisime Bologna päikeselist ilma.
Have a great time reading the rest of the post! / Ilusat edasi lugemist!
In the morning we woke up quite late, just to get ourselves ready and go to town. When we finally reached there, we met Flavia, who was having her lunch time from work (as it was a national holiday the day before, she now had to work on Saturday) and she showed us where to go in order to eat, just before she had to go back to work.
We went to this nice little Italian place named Pane Vino e San Daniele. There we took a pasta of the day and because they had two options they were willing to put us half and half. First half was a normal lasagna, the other was something like a vegetarian lasagna. We also took a plate full of some Italian ham, some smoked cold cheese and salad - we did not really enjoy the cheese, as it tasted weirdly. And of course, we had two classes of red wine. It all costed 21.70€ and we also gave 2.70€ tip to our waiter Nicola, a guy who had studied the history of wine making in university.
Later on we went to see the town and visited all of those places Flavia had recommended us to see. E.g. we went to this really nice building that had all of its walls and ceilings covered with various coats of arms. Then we also saw a really nice shopping area, where Flavia also worked. As we were thirsty, we quickly went and bought two drinks from a local store for 1.99€.
Finally we climbed to the top of the highest tower in Bologna (in the old times, every rich family built themselves a tower to show their wealth, but unfortunately most of them were destroyed during the world war) where we could see all of Bologna - this costed 3€ per person. There we met a nice couple from Australia, Mike and Maggie, who gladly took a picture of us.
After that we just returned to home, quickly stopping in another supermarket to buy some wine and ice cream for the evening for 14.27€. When we arrived to home, we watched a film until Flavia got home as well. Then she said that Rocco and two other friends would come to eat dinner with us and that she was going to prepare some mushroom risotto and a chocolate cake and asked us to help.
When the others arrived, we opened a wine with Pierrot, one of the guys who had arrived, and started to talk until the meal was prepared. Then we all ate and kept on talking, had some cake as well and then moved back to living room, where we listened music until I fell asleep. When I finally woke up, others had left, so it was time to get to bed.
All in all we spent:
* 24.40€ on the lunch.
* 1.99€ on two drinks.
* 6€ to climb the tower.
* 14.27€ in the supermarket.
= 46.26€ in total.
