Welcome!/Tere Tulemast!

In this blog, I mostly write in English, although when I write about things that may also be important for my grandparents, then I also translate my posts into Estonian.

Week #2 - Synthetic hitchhike

Greeting to all fellow earthlings and other loose creatures! / Tervitused kõigile, kes on taaskord siia jõudnud!

As I promised to take up blogging again, then here I proudly stand, sharing all of the significant I have been doing or experiencing this fine week, although there has been nothing unprecedented.

Like I pointed out in the previous post, today and in future, I will write in English and give a brief summary in Estonian.

Enjoy and comment! / Nautige ja kommenteerige!

Plato: The Failure of Democracy

Tervist,

Hi all,

I am sorry that I never wrote about my last journey from RSA back to Estonia but as I have now been in Estonia for almost a month, I will not going to do it at all this time (nothing that important did not happen there anyhow)

What is important is the present, where I have to do a philosophical speech on "Why the wise consider democracy the worst?". Now, while I have been trying to write this speech, I have read through many-many good materials and for myself I discovered Plato's Republic, which has lots of great material for me and my speech. More importantly, I found this one material, which is like an analyse for the book and I think every person, who is interested in gathering more knowledge and widening their "horizon", should read it through - it is not too long and it has lots of good ideas (especially I loved Allegory of the Cave), so I will now add this thing here also and I hope you enjoy it:
