Hi you all! / Heips kõigile!
As I promised, I will now write about my plans for the coming summer and I also have some first-served offers to the readers.
Mostly this thing is about what happens in July, whether I should go to Taiwan or elsewhere and also I briefly touch the topic of work.
Hope you like it and please comment!
As you all may have heard or read from the last blog post, this summer I will be hosting one boy, called Tony from Taiwan, through the Rotary Youth Exchange program. If everything goes well for him - I mean that he gets his documents sorted out, then he will probably come here in the beginning of June and will stay here for a month.
It is great that he comes now, since then he can experience Pärnu in all of its glory, swim, tan, go to concerts etc and go to Hiiumaa with me to my relatives and just see a lot of Estonia, while it is not coloured only black&white. At the same time it is not so good, since then I really cannot go to work, especially when I would like to work in a pub, where the days are 12 to 16 hours long, since otherwise he would really have nothing to do here and I could not show him as much of Estonia as I might want to. Although, if I would work in A.P.T.E.K. it would maybe be fine, as I could take him there with me as long as I am working - he could party and I could work all at the same time. We'll see what happens and whether I get a job there, if not, then I am okay to only work for my parents, through using Auto CAD.
But now to the important part of this text - what will happen in July.
Since I only got the answer from Rotary in the beginning of April, I am in a way in a hurry to get all the documents ready - mostly just flight tickets, as I do not need a visa for Taiwan. The problem is not in getting them, as much as it is getting them with a normal price and I kind of think I am already too late for that. When I was looking for plane tickets today then from Tallinn to Taipei (capital of Taiwan) the tickets were starting from 1300€; from Riga to Taipei starting from 1000€; from London to Taipei starting from 900€ and from Helsinki to Taipei 800€. It is already more a lot more than my tickets from Helsinki to Johannesburg were and so I am thinking on not going to Taiwan this year.
Because it is still my last year as an high school student and my parents are willing to pay my travel costs, I am thinking on going to a little month-long Europe trip as an hitch-hiker with a purpose to visit some universities all-over Europe, where I might want to study after I graduate. Also I would just like to go to and see all the places that I have not been able to see so far.
So basically, if my parents and I find the trip to Taiwan to be too expensive, then I would like to go to Europe this summer, as an hitch-hiker and now I am looking for a person willing to come and experience this thing with me. If anyone is even a bit interested, then let me know as soon as possible in here or on Facebook or on my e-mail. With this piece of writing, I am also informing all my friends all-over Europe that I might come knocking on your doors this summer.

All the best! / Kõike head!
